If you have discolored, chipped, or misaligned teeth, you can craft a brand-new, beautiful smile using thin restorations called veneers. These permanent restorations are an excellent cosmetic option for those who wish to efficiently correct imperfections in their smile. Veneers are beneficial for correcting imperfections in the visible front teeth, allowing you to enjoy smiling for pictures and social interactions without feeling self-conscious about your teeth. At Arsmiles Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, Fairlawn, Ohio, Dr. Sima F. Chegini and her dedicated team are happy to rejuvenate and restore your smile using the latest composite or porcelain veneers.
The first step is a consultation visit to begin your journey to a brighter smile. Our experienced dentist will perform a comprehensive oral examination to ensure your teeth are healthy and free of gum disease and decay. During this appointment, you can discuss your goals and desires for improving your smile. Our team will take photos and use a color guide to create a customized smile design that will transform your smile into the one you’ve always wanted!
Veneers are a popular cosmetic dental solution that can address a variety of imperfections to create a stunning smile makeover. These thin porcelain shells are bonded onto your teeth to optimize your smile’s aesthetics. With veneers, you can say goodbye to visible imperfections, such as:
To ensure the best results, dental veneers typically require two appointments following a thorough oral examination to confirm candidacy. During the initial visit, your dentist will prepare the tooth by removing a thin enamel layer from the front surface. This gentle reduction creates a slightly roughened surface, which helps the new veneer to bond more effectively to the tooth. Next, your teeth will be scanned so the veneers can be crafted in-house or by a skilled laboratory ceramist.
Once your custom veneers are ready, you will visit the dental office to complete your smile transformation! With their cosmetic appeal, natural appearance, and stain-resistant properties, veneers are a long-lasting solution for restoring damaged teeth. With the proper care, your new smile will last for years. So, get ready to show off your dazzling new teeth and enjoy the confidence boost that comes with a bright, healthy smile!
